Is there a subscription?+

No subscription ever. HomeCinema.lk is purely pay-per-view. You only pay for the movies you choose to watch. No recurring charges, no hidden fees, no auto-renewals.

How much does it cost?+

Movies start from $2 USD per rental. Some new releases and premium titles are priced at $3 USD. The price is shown clearly on each movie card before you add it to your cart.

Can I watch on my TV?+

Yes. You can stream on any device with a modern browser — phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, or smart TV. VdoCipher's player is compatible with all major browsers and supports fullscreen mode.

What happens after 72 hours?+

Your access to that rental expires. You can rent the same movie again at the standard rate to regain access for another 72-hour window. Your purchase history is always visible in My Library.

Are payments secure?+

All payments are processed by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. Your card details are never stored on our servers. We use SSL encryption on all connections.

Can I download movies?+

Downloads are not supported. All movies are streamed online via DRM-protected delivery to prevent piracy and protect the filmmakers' work and livelihoods.

What is the 18+ content?+

Some films are rated 18+ for mature themes. These require age verification before you can rent them. We verify your date of birth at the time of registration or when first attempting to rent adult content.

How do I request a refund?+

3. Payments & Refunds

All transactions are in USD and processed securely via Stripe. Rental fees are non-refundable once streaming has commenced. Refunds may be issued at our discretion in cases of genuine technical failure preventing playback.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not record, download, or redistribute any content from this platform

You may not share your account credentials with others

You may not use automated tools to access or scrape the service

5. Age Restrictions

Some content is restricted to users aged 18 and over. By confirming your age, you warrant that you are of legal age to view adult content in your jurisdiction.

6. Intellectual Property
